Protect treasures from the sun

Whether in galleries, museums, places of interest or in people’s homes, works of art, antiques and other valuable items can be severely damaged by the sun.

The sun’s rays convert moisture in items into Hydrogen Peroxide which ‘bleaches’ the material and the drying-out process causes items to crack and become more vulnerable to being touched.

Modern high technology window films have the ability to filter out the excesses of the sun whilst retaining acceptable levels of visible light transmission.
